We are Lutherans. The Lutheran church is a Christian church founded in the 1500’s by the followers of the protestant reformer Martin Luther. Martin Luther was a monk, priest, and teacher who, after learning the original languages of the Bible, was amazed by God’s unconditional love for all people through the life, death, and resurrection of God’s own son Jesus Christ. Through Jesus anyone is welcomed into God’s kingdom, regardless of how imperfect you feel or have lived. In Jesus God…loves…you…period! Today Lutherans seek to spread that good news through the way we live our lives and how we serve others, especially those in need.
