Bros Fish Tacos was formed in 2012 with the actual business hitting the ground at the beginning of 2013 in Virginia Beach. Our idea spawned from a combination of interest in starting an exciting new business venture, our love for great healthy food that doesn’t hurt the wallet or the waistline, and our combined experience with making people happy by providing them something delicious to eat like Fish Tacos. So we thought, what better way to accomplish all of these things than to start a Mobile Food Truck.
My wife Elyse has been cooking since 2004 after earning her culinary arts degree at Johnson&Wales. She has found new inspiration in being able to get out from behind the kitchen walls, interact with people, and directly witness how much people enjoy our food.
I myself was a Medic and a Firefighter in Hampton, Virginia from 2004-2013 and have cooked meals at the fire station for some of the toughest critics you could imagine. Growing up in southern California I have grubbed on some of the best fish tacos around and always enjoy introducing people to one of the staple foods of Baja and California.
