Located in the historic de Witt Cottage, at the oceanfront, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum was founded by the Back Bay Wildfowl Guild.  Exhibiting and housing artifacts from our region’s wildfowling history, as well as contemporary wildfowl art and carvings, the Museum promotes the wildfowling arts while educating friends and future members about the rich heritage of wildfowling in North America, with particular focus on the Atlantic Flyway and its migratory waterfowl.

The Museum also has the finest Gift Shop on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, featuring wildfowl decoys, decorative carvings, artwork, books, bird kites and other premium items for sale.  Everyone is welcome.  Admission is free.  Donations are always appreciated
